Requirements
Machine Shop Sales Administrator
- Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Moughton Engineering have continued to grow, through increased demand, supporting existing clients, through continual improvement and investment in production development and new machinery.
We are looking for a dedicated and driven Machine Shop Sales Administrator to join our Team. You will have previously worked in administration within an office environment, being methodical and having an excellent eye for detail, preferably with experience of an engineering / manufacturing background.
Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment are essential, you will be working closely with the Machine Shop Manager, Sales Supervisor, Production Planner and the Machine Shop.
Experience of an ERP system advantageous although full training will be given.
Basic knowledge of engineering / raw materials advantageous.
Experience using Microsoft packages e.g. excel, word essential.
The ability to work well individually and as part of a team with excellent people skills desirable.
Daily duties as per below –
- Review and Process Customer orders in a timely manner in the MRP System.
- Providing Customers with Updates on their Orders.
- Answer Customer Queries.
- Liaising with the Machine Shop to assist with any queries.
- General Production and Sales admin duties
- Reception Duties – answering telephone, greeting visitors etc.
- Assisting Sales & Production team as required
The above position offers a basic PART TIME 24 HOURS PER WEEK (days / hours to be discussed and agreed) at £12.50 per hour.
Pro-rata annual holiday allowance, Bank Holidays, birthday leave & wellbeing day, contributory pension scheme, life assurance and occupational health screening.
